Academic Scholarship Application

Since its inception in 2007, Business First, Women Who Mean Business, Inc., has granted a female attending a Louisiana-accredited college a $500.00 scholarship to help with her expenses. For eligibility, the student must be a full-time student who has successfully completed 60+ credits at an accredited University or Jr. College. (Click below for further details.)

Applications are accepted annually from April 1 through June 30. The scholarship is announced at the August meeting and awarded at the BUSINESS FIRST, Women Who Mean Business, Inc., open meeting in September. Family members and loved ones are allowed as well as encouraged to attend the presentation.

We urge all future businesswomen to review our rules and guidelines and apply for our scholarship. Complete the online application in full and hit submit.
